Thepostgraduate Medical Education team atSussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a full time Band 4 Senior Medical Education Administrator for the Brighton & Hove area.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a confident and reliable administrator tojoin our friendly team, which is dedicated to ensuring that doctors in training receivea high-quality educational experience.The post holder will need to evidence considerable experience in the use of IT, minute-taking and meeting support, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention todetail, and a flexible 'can-do' approach.
About us
This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but busy team in a rewarding role. The post is based at Sussex Education Centre at Mill View Hospital in Hove, but after a comprehensive induction period, there will be the opportunity to work from home for part of the week. The post holder must work at Sussex Education Centre on a Wednesday, with Tuesday being the preferred second day in the office. The post holder will need to be have the flexibility to change their office days at times to assist in facilitating events, particularly during our induction weeks which take place in February, April, August and December.

Essential
- Educated to GCSE standard to include English Language and Mathematics at Grade C equivalent or above, or a Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualification
- NVQ 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent experience
- Substantial experience in secretarial and administrative procedures
- Experience of supporting meetings and minute taking
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Desirable
- Previous experience of working within a Postgraduate environment (NHS or educational setting)
- Experience of using digital platforms e.g. ZOOM, Skype, MSTeams
- Experience of the provision of pastoral care.
