Fixed term contract/Secondment -Band 7 RM NURSE

If so, our Senior Nurse practitioner vacancy in our Liaison Team Eastbourne could be just the role for you!
Liaison Services support A&E to provide a comprehensive biopsychosocial crisis assessment for any adult aged 18 or over who is not subject to the Mental Health Act. As an Urgent Care Nurse , your priority will be to ensure the safety of service users in crisis. You will complete an assessment of the individual's needs and risks, accurately recording and communicating this information and working with the individual to create plans for their on-going care and treatment.
This is a great opportunity to further develop on nurse led assessment and decision-making skills.
Main duties of the job
I am looking to recruit skilled and highly motivated practitioners to join us and develop excellent working relationships with the emergency services who refer people to us.
You will be an excellent communicator, demonstrating empathy and facilitating an inclusive and collaborative environment and assessment to those service users accessing either/both The Haven and CRHTT services with a particular focus on:
Utilising your excellent clinical skills and judgement to assessDemonstrate an understanding of clinical interventions relevant to care group to include education, care plans and discharge planningWork compassionately and creatively to identify therapeutic and evidence-based outcomes, care plans for people who are experiencing a crisisContribute to developing bespoke crisis plans and work closely with our inpatient and CMHT.Work closely with carers, families and partner agencies to facilitate and promote safety and well-being of service users and their families/carers.
