Over the next five years, community mental health services are going to be undergoing a real transformation and you could be part of these exciting developments. Our community mental health teams will become part of a much more integrated network of services and our mental health staff will be central in driving these changes, in close partnership with our primary and third sector colleagues.
An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate Family Interventions for Psychosis (FIp) Practitioner to join the new Coastal West Sussex Enhanced Community Rehabilitation Service. This is a new, exciting and innovative service which specialises in supporting individuals who have experienced complex psychosis or treatment resistant psychosis as described within the NICE guidance for Rehabilitation.

Main duties of the job
Candidates for this post will need to have already gained the Family Interventions for Psychosis qualification, or be currently undertaking the course. The role is fully dedicated to family interventions provision, and the post holder will be taking a lead in structuring the way in which this intervention is offered to the families of service users under the care of the service, working with other members of the team who are also trained to deliver family intervention.
Successful applicants will therefore be provided with the opportunity to contribute towards the further development of the service, and to take a leadership role specifically regarding the delivery of family intervention. You will also need to be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and able to work as part of a team.

- Demonstrable competence in the delivery of a psychological therapy and a track record of delivering positive outcomes in this therapy
- Experience of representing psychological therapy within the context of multi-disciplinary care and NHS settings
