Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Community Assessment and Treatment Team based at Mill View Hospital, Hove.

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with experience of working with people with complex health conditions in mental health settings.

This post offers a incentive, or a Relocation package up to a maximum of £4000 (pro rata applies and subject to terms and conditions).

Main duties of the job

We welcome applications from practitioners who are highly motivated, resilient, enthusiastic, creative, flexible, and resourceful. Whilst experience of working in the mental health field is desirable, we would welcome and consider applications from newly qualified practitioners or those with a special interest in developing in mental health. These roles could be facilitated as a Band 5 to 6 developmental opportunity.

A passion for working with people to support individual recovery goals and to work collaboratively with the service user themselves, their carers, colleagues within the third sector, GPs and the wider mental health service within the Trust is essential.

The successful applicant will be part of a supportive smaller multi-disciplinary cluster team within the Assessment & Treatment Service, catering for a set group of GP practices within Brighton and Hove. The role is varied, fast paced, interesting and at times challenging - but also highly rewarding.
