Job summary
Are you interested in working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health? The Fareham & Gosport team is pleased to invite applications for the role of Health Care Support worker to work alongside our clinicians across our busy duty service and ADHD monitoring clinics.
In this role you will have the chance to really make a difference, you will be gathering information, liaising with professionals, be part of the multi disciplinary discussions and have opportunities to talk to parents about where and how they can get support for their children.
This role would is well suited to someone already in a HCSW role or those considering mental health nursing or social work careers, and assistant Psychologists wanting to gain experience in CAMHS. This role is a part-time post at 22.50 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
Working with members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate the development and delivery of the CAMHS duty Service.
This includes analysis of information received from parents and professionals, information gathering and telephone contact to determine risk and inform a multidisciplinary formulation.
Puts service users' needs at the heart of the job, keeping people safe, contributes to effective interventions, and responds compassionately to distress.
To work under close clinical supervision from a registered professional to provide high quality care as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, informed by skills in communication, analysis of information, planning and organisational skills.
To complete physical observations within the ADHD Clinic and support the clinical team within medication monitoring appointments,
