Job summary

We are about to embark on two exciting projects within the Trust and are looking for a Lead Business Change (Adoption) Analyst to join our team on an 18 month fixed term contract, to work alongside our staff to develop, champion and embed new ways of working to realise the benefits of the projects and lead a team of Change Analysts, who will work out within our teams.

Main duties of the job

As Lead Business Change (Adoption) Analyst for major projects within the Digital Department you will have a critical and pivotal role, in the successful delivery and implementation of the projects.

You will lead and manage a team of Business Change Analysts who will work across the organisation.

Working with key stakeholders you will use your knowledge, skills and experience to lead on understanding and mapping the current 'As Is' processes across the organisation.

Defining and developing new ways of working, will be a critical part of the role, working and engaging with a large range of stakeholders to ensure that areas are identified for service and quality improvement which will lead to agreed standardised Trust wide 'To Be' processes.

Using your knowledge, experience and change leadership skills, you will work alongside our Trust staff to champion and embed the new ways of working and realise the benefits of these programmes of work.

About us

The Digital Team is a welcoming, friendly Team, based over many sites.

We are made up of four Portfolio's - Clinical Systems, Patient Facing, Business Intelligence and Support Services along with a Technical Delivery Unit and a Project Management Office.

We have an 'Entertainment and Activities' (EAT), Team that organise social events, both face to face and virtual.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will work autonomously to the agreed objectives of the major projects, which will run con-currently. There will be regular monitoring and review meetings, where the post holder will be responsible for providing regular updates on the progress of the projects.

The post holder will be seen as the subject matter expert for Change Management across the projects.

The post holder will lead and line manage a team of Business Change Analysts who will work across the organisation.

The post holder with provide leadership and guidance to those supporting the delivery of this project as required. Also, to ensure the monitoring and upward reporting mechanisms associated with their plans. Ensuring that appropriate project documentation is maintained (fundamentally AGILE based, but tailored accordingly) including, highlight reports, exception reports, risk log, issues log, project initiation document, project plan, etc.

The post holder will present information and issues, communicating highly complex issues, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, some of which will be highly contentious and will require the ability to communicate in a collaborative style.

There will be a requirement to run large workshops, to encourage and motivate staff to become involved and feel part of the projects.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to Degree level and Postgraduate level qualification in e.g. change management/workforce re-design or another relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Programme and Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2 (Practitioner level) and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
  • Experience of continuing professional development and other significant training and experience in a workplace setting
