Job summary

Education and Training Team Apprentice Administrator - Band 3

We are looking for an Administrator to join us an apprentice in supporting our Education and Training Team.

Led by the Associate Director of Education, OD and Talent Management and Training, you will work closely with the wider department and Trust in providing a positive and rewarding learning journey for all staff, volunteers and service users.

Main duties of the job

Duties will involve supporting new and existing staff members in accessing our learning management system, MyLearning, and by building up your knowledge of the system, help with it's development. Upon successful recruitment, you will be supported in undertaking a level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship if you haven't already done so.

You will need to manage your time effectively, prioritising deadlines and conflicting demands, great organisational skills and a desire to provide brilliant customer service. You must be flexible and able to work across the Trust.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity, suitable for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting others, dealing with people at all levels both internally and externally. You must have a helpful and flexible attitude and a willingness to work as part of a busy team, as well as the ability to work alone.

About us

As part of your role as an apprentice, you will be supported in undertaking a level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship qualification (if you haven't already done so). This learning will take place during your working hours and will support you to develop within your role as an Apprentice Administrator.

This post will have a requirement to travel on across Trust sites and you will need to be flexible with hours. As the team is currently working remotely for part of the week and whenever possible you will be working from home too. This position is a 24 month fixed term, full time contract with an opportunity to apply for a substantive post, subject to availability.

We are looking for someone who has effective communication, is competent in a variety of computer skills, in particular, Microsoft Office and good understanding of social media platforms to promote our workstreams.

You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines, great organisational skills and a desire to provide brilliant customer service. You must be flexible, able to work across the Trust. This is a busy, exciting and rewarding opportunity, suitable for someone who strives for excellence and is enthusiastic about supporting and facilitating the progression of others.
