Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist/Telephonist to join our Assessment & Treatment Service (ATS) based at Arun House in Worthing. This position is predominantly based in Worthing, although there will be occasions to provide reception cover at our other reception sites across Adur, Arun and Worthing.
You will work as part of a team providing reception cover for our multi-disciplinary service.
You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, adaptable and able to work off your own initiative as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Effective communication skills and a commitment to caring for patients in the community must be demonstrated.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to get fully vaccinated against COVID.
Main duties of the job
You will primarily provide reception and telephone support for the service. The main responsibilities of this role will be to respond to telephone call from service users, staff and external agencies; and/or provide a meet and greet service.
We are looking for a well organised, IT literate admin assistant to be part of the administration team. Preferably you will have experience in a health or social care setting, but this is not essential. You will have well developed communication, keyboard and time management skills. An ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment is essential. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook. Other administration duties will be required.
