Job summary

To be the administrative and business support lead for the pharmacy team across Sussex Partnership. Primarily providing administrative support to the Pharmacy Team.

A key feature of the role will be maintaining and interrogating databases, managing the medication section on the Trust's website and managing the team rostering and HR systems.

Main duties of the job

This post presents an opportunity for a Pharmacy Administrator motivated by the desire to improve patient care, by supporting the the Pharmacy Team . You will be working with the Senior team along with the wider pharmacy team to provide this service.

The role requires an organised, flexible individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The team provides a well-structured support system, access to training, with opportunity for development.

Essential

  • Appropriate experience equivalent to BTEC or NVQ Level 4 or Secretarial RSA level
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate accuracy, numeracy, literacy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience of Microsoft software packages

Desirable

  • ECDL or equivalent advantageous
  • Knowledge of database and spreadsheet development, e.g. Access & Excel
  • Experience of ESR self service
  • Experience of ROSTER or similar staff rostering e systems
  • Understanding of payroll submission process and Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions
