We are looking for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Langley Green Hospital, where you will be working alongside nursing staff and consultant to aid with the overall day to day activities ensuring the care and safety of service users.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, your main responsibilities will be to work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for service users.

You will also be involved in undertaking personal care duties for service users in hospital or a similar setting, as well as reporting on patients' conditions to qualified staff.

You will need to use your strong people skills, attention to detail and motivation to constantly improve the way we work.

About us

Here at Langley Green we have four wards - Amber Ward (psychiatric intensive care unit) Opal Ward (integrated acute ward) Coral and Jade Ward (both acute wards).

You will be supported throughout your career at Langley Green with regular supervision, yearly appraisals, access to training and professional development opportunities. We also provide a wide range of specialist courses with the opportunities to take lead roles on the wards.
