We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Team Leader to join our Adult Community Mental Health Service in the West Assessment & Treatment Service (ATS), based at Mill View Hospital, in Hove. Working in the vibrant and diverse city of Brighton and Hove, we support people with severe and enduring mental health needs. We use a recovery-focused approach, and work very much as a team to ensure we provide the highest level of care to the people we serve in our community.
Main duties of the job
Our service is split into three smaller multidisciplinary teams, dividing GP surgeries in the area, providing specialist mental health and risk assessment alongside a range of specialist interventions. Each of these cluster multi-disciplinary teams is led by a Band 7 Professional lead or Clinical Lead who manages the referrals and allocations supporting day to day clinical decisions in the cluster. You will be joining a very robust and established leadership structure within the ATS.As team leader it will be your role to bring the best out of our staff team, and support them in managing the complex demands of clinical work while maintaining their own wellbeing and resilience.
