Job summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join the Adur, Arun and Worthing (AAW) Group Treatment Programme service.

We are a multi-disciplinary team within the Assessment and Treatment Service providing specialist assessment and psychologically-informed group interventions, delivering part of the care pathway for clients with complex emotional difficulties. We run generic psychoeducational groups using evidence-base approaches as well as specialist interventions such as the STEPPS Programme.

Main duties of the job

Requirements

As lead practitioners holding a caseload, we promote a trauma informed approach to client care, focused on building therapeutic relationships to support people to develop safe, effective mood and emotion management coping skills.

These are exciting times to join the team. We are involved in contributing to introduction of additional therapy modalities (Structured Clinical Management (SCM); DBT) as part of the current development of the personality disorder / complex emotional difficulties pathway implementation, and community transformation.
