Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled senior leader to support the development of the Provider Collaborative. This is a new and crucial role and the successful candidate will join the Senior Management Team to lead on Safeguarding and Quality across Kent, Surrey and Sussex Secure Services.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will have significant experience of leading transformation programmes and working with a wide range of partner organisations. Experience of working across complex health and care landscapes is essential. Applications are welcomed from Social work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Psychology. You will need to have extensive clinical experience in mental health and forensic experience is desirable although not essential. The successful candidate will join a busy dynamic team.
The post holder will have a passion for the development of quality and safeguarding processes which lead to improvements in secure mental health inpatient care across Kent Surrey and Sussex. You will be required to travel flexibly across the region.
NB although the post is technically based at Trust HQ in Swandean, Worthing, there is an option to be based at an alternative NHS Trust location across the footprint of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

- Educated to degree/ diploma level with a relevant qualification - Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology
- Clinical/post graduate management qualification to masters or equivalent level of experience and proven ability to perform at this level
- Clinical qualification, and current registration with appropriate body as above
Knowledge/ Experience
Essential
- Experience of and demonstrable achievement in managing Inpatient or Community Services
- Management of resources and good track record with change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans.
- Experience of modernising services without additional resources.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders in the redesign of services.
- Experience of project management and imaginative planning
- Experience of managing a diverse practitioner team (multi site).
- Measurable track record in involving and motivating staff to improve performance.
