Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a creative an innovative multidisciplinary CAMHS team in Hampshire. The post holder will be supported by the Lead for Children in Care and contribute to a countywide service for Children in Care. We are seeking a highly motivated clinician full-time who has a passion for working collaboratively with Children in Care and their complex family and professional systems. The role would suit a highly experienced therapist, psychologist, social worker, nurse or other appropriately qualified clinicians with the relevant professional registration.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be based in the Eastleigh CAMHS team.
The Children in Care clinician is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Their expert knowledge of working with this population as well as drawing on the expertise of other team members will ensure that children and young people will receive the most appropriate intervention to meet their unmet mental health needs.
The post-holder will be professionally responsible to the countywide Lead for Children in Care and come under the governance of the Professional Lead for Psychology and Psychological Therapies. Supervision and continuing professional development will be specially tailored for the role.

Eastleigh CAMHS is a small, creative and supportive multidisciplinary team within Hampshire CAMHS.
Hampshire CAMHS is an innovative service for children and families. We are part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
We have 7 community teams across the county, as well as a number of specialist teams - single point of access and Early Help service, the specialist Eating Disorder Service, i2i - our urgent assessment and home treatment team and Mental Health Support Teams in schools. We are enhancing and further developing our service, having recently secured significant investment from commissioners. This includes the creation of a paediatric psychiatric liaison service and creating a brand new blended digital and face to face team.
