Job summary

Langley Green Hospital is a purpose built hospital for people with acute mental health problems. It comprises of three acute wards which are all mixed sex and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) . Coral and Jade Wards are both acute wards for adults, and Opal Ward is for older adults; all wards have 19 bedrooms, and all have en-suite facilities. Amber ward, our Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit has 12 beds.

We currently have positions for Band 5 nurses across our hospital, so if you're not 100% sure which ward you would prefer to work on, that's fine, all you have to do is apply once and we'll match you to the team that best fits you, or alternatively we can provide a rotation across our inpatient wards, giving you a broad range of experience within our service.

Additionally, if you are a newly qualified nurse, our Preceptorship Academy will help to give you the very best start in your transition from Student to Registered Nurse.

Working within a supportive clinically led team, you will have the opportunity to really work in partnership with patients - engaging, supporting and developing a relationship which really enables the recovery process.
