Job summary

We are seeking a healthcare assistant to come and join the team at Regency Ward.

You will be working with male individuals who are experiencing mental ill-health during the acute stage of their ill-health.

Main duties of the job

6 Month Secondment Healthcare Assistant

Regency Ward

Full Time - 37 hours per week (part time also considered)

Regency ward is a 20bedded male acute ward based at Milview Hospital in Brighton and Hove.

Milview Hospital is an award winning, purpose built acute mental health unit in Brighton and Hove that provides person-centred and holistic care to the people within our care.

We are looking for confident people with a genuine interest in Mental Health who are motivated, dynamic and forward thinking to work at Milview Hospital as Healthcare Assistants. Applicants need to be committed to maintaining and improving service user centered care to the highest standards. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an ability to demonstrate good communication skills and team working abilities. In return you will benefit from working in a therapeutic environment conducive to the treatment and recovery of people with acute functional mental health problems. All your skills and life experience will be fully utilised and developed through clinical supervision and training opportunities.

About us

We are looking forHealth Care Assistants to join Regency in-patient male acute ward.

Regency has a full MDT, which is supportive of one another and strives to deliver outstanding care to those living with dementia who present with a acute phase of the illness.
