Job summary

Supporting the Assistant Director of Patient Safety, focusing on developing a learning culture and tools for assurance, supporting the delivery of the patient safety incident investigation framework (PSIRF), the postholder will be an integral member of the Patient Safety Team.You will need to be self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organization.You will take pride in your work, be highly motivated, professional, have a flexible approach, good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines. Experience of undertaking learning reviews is essential.

Main duties of the job

o Building a learning culture through the development of high-quality learning responseso Supporting patient safety oversight and assurance through committee papers and reviews, working with safety analytics and improvement teams to improve patient careo Supporting the continued improvement of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework leading to measurable cultural change in patient safety
