Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry - Eating Disorder Service (10PAs)
We are currently seeking to recruit a Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry to work with our all age Eating Disorder Service. The post is full time (10PAs) and permanent. You would be based at Moor Park Health and Leisure Centre, Blackpool and Harvey House, Lancaster.
Main duties of the job
You will work together with eating disorder clinicians and the clinical team to support the community-based all-age eating disorder service in Lancashire and South Cumbria focusing on eating disorder population. This will also include liaison with professional and clinical colleagues in community, acute care and primary care. The specialty doctor will be part of the multi-disciplinary team meetings to review the patient progress and to assist with task managements for his/her patients. The post holder will support the ongoing development and delivery of a physical health pathway.

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC, and have a licence to practice.
If you are not currently Section 12 approved, you would be expected to work towards achieving this and then maintaining it.
Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Specialty Doctor Contract according to previous experience, based on Ten Programmed Activities (PAs) per week.
