Job summary

An exciting opportunity is available to join our Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT). Located in The John Hewitt Suite at Royal Blackburn Hospital (directly across from A&E Ambulance Bay)

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Clinical Team working closely beside the clinicians.

Key parts to the role:

o Team player - Committed and Loyal.o Reports to be emailed daily.o Medical records updated.o Processing referralso Using in house IT systems o Keeping clear communication to clinicians and the wider MDT teams.o Organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload

The post is full time 37.5 hours. This is be worked over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The pattern is below:

o Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 08:00 20:00o Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08:00 20:00o Week 3 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 08:00 20:00o Week 4 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08:00 20:00o Week 5 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 20:00 08:00o Week 6 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 20:00 08:00o Week 7 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 20:00 08:00o Week 8 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 20:00 08:00

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The post holder will be aligned to Pennine Mental Health Liaison Team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to other teams on various sites as directed by the Team Leader in liaison with Locality Admin Co-ordinator to ensure continuity of a quality service.
