Job summary
Following the secondment of the substantive role holder, an opportunity has arisen for a 12 month fixed term post/secondment to be a lead nurse for Digital, working closely with the Trust Chief Clinical Information Officer and the Trust Nursing and Quality leadership team
The post holder will be a key player in helping to realise the trust's digital vision alongside the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO), the Nursing teams and the other members of Health Informatics team, in order to deliver high quality and safe care. They will provide strong leadership to, and on behalf of the Clinical Safety team in order to support other teams in delivering agreed objectives and providing constructive challenge to improve decision-making and outcomes.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of need of clinically approved technological solutions within the nursing and allied health professional environment, and to contribute to the wider digital needs of the organisation.
They will work closely with the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO). They will also provide day-to-day management of the clinical facilitators (staff with clinical backgrounds) within the Health Informatics team.
