Main duties of the job

An opportunity has arisen for a values based leader to be the Trust's next Chief Strategy Officer, a post only vacant due to the previous post holder gaining a Chief Executive position. As member of the Board, you will make a significant impact on the delivery of the Trust's strategy, ensuring alignment with national and regional healthcare goals and our commitment to equity, innovation, and high-quality outcomes. You will also oversee system-wide commissioning for specialised mental health services developing relationships with provider collaboratives to deliver high standards of care. The post holder will also be responsible for the performance directorate, developing metrics that support improved clinical outcomes, across our networks and corporate functions, ensuring the Board remains well-informed of performance gaps, and mitigations strategies in place to drive and support change.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
