Job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team. This post is based at Altham Meadows.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service across the Mental Health Network, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to a specific team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the Networks administrative service providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Admin Lead/Team Leader to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
Work flexibly in response to the needs of the Locality Administration Services providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their line manager in liaison with Locality Admin Co-ordinator to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
The post is 35.5 hours per week and is a permanent post within the team. Working hours are negotiable, however, the service is open between the hours of 0900-1700.
Main duties of the job
As a vital team member you will provide excellent administration and communication skills and work flexibly in response to the service needs. You will provide day to day support to the CAMHS & ADHD team. You will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, be computer literate and be able to use a variety of systems including Excel and Microsoft Office, possess excellent time management skills along with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities.
This is a very varied role and would suit someone who is highly motivated and capable of working on their own initiative, with a medium level of supervision.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to join the Administrative Team and assist in the smooth running of the service.
This will include:
o Provide a range of secretarial duties to the team or department
o Attend departmental meetings on a regular basis
o Ensure data is inputted accurately and timely and proactively
o Be the first point of contact for the team or department. Greeting visitors, answering telephones, taking and forwarding messages, ensuring that all telephone and personal callers receive a prompt, courteous, non-judgmental and well-informed response.
o Respond to queries, dealing with routine matters and passing on more complex queries to the appropriate member of staff
