Base Barbara Castle Way Health Centre
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Team Coordinator to join the Lancashire & South Cumbria Dental Service to lead and support the Dental Teams at Barbara Castle Way, Royal Blackburn Hospital and Darwen.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and highly driven individual, with the ability to motivate others. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage change and support colleagues around the current dental contract. You will need to be proactive, innovative and able to keep quality, service users and the team at the heart of everything you do.
You will need to have a good knowledge of the dental Service and also be registered with the General Dental Council as a healthcare professional.
Main duties of the job
Within the co-production model provide effective and efficient leadership and management
To line manage and provide support and supervision to the Dental Team
To manage and be responsible for meeting the Team's access and performance targets; to work closely with the Associate Clinical Director, Clinical Co-ordinators, Dental Service Co-ordinators and Clinical Team Lead to ensure service delivery and to maintain the smooth running of the department.
