Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive Deputy Director of Nursing & Quality post within the Fylde Coast Network. The Deputy Director of Nursing supports the delivery of high quality care and professional practice within the Fylde Coast Network.

Working with the Director of Nursing & Quality, the role focusses on supporting the delivery of the Nursing and Quality objectives within key areas including Clinical and Professional Practice, Clinical Governance, Risk, Performance and Improvement. The successful candidate will have drive and enthusiasm to continue to take this forward at pace in conjunction with the Director of Nursing and Quality, the Professional Practice leads and the wider Senior Leadership Team.

Main duties of the job

The role will include the operational leadership of a number of key aspects of the Director of Nursing & Quality portfolio and provide visible professional and clinical leadership within the Fylde Coast Network. This is a fast paced role which will require extensive clinical and leadership experience.   • Registered Nurse Mental Health or Learning Disabilities
  • First Degree (Health subject)
  • Educated to relevant masters degree or prepared to study towards masters with demonstrable equivalent experience
