Job summary
Following organisational redesign, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust for three posts as Network Pharmacy Director. Two of these posts have been newly created.
We are looking for pharmacists with the relevant experience, vision and enthusiasm for high quality, patient centred care. The successful applicant will have well-developed leadership skills, management experience, be self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. You will have a good knowledge of Therapeutics and Clinical Pharmacy in both mental health and physical health with the focus on delivering a joined up approach to good pharmaceutical care across all care settings. You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Main duties of the job
The posts are available in the following networks.
Specialist Services, The Bay and Pennine
The Network Pharmacy Director for Specialist Services will be based within the Lancashire and South Cumbria footprint. There will be a requirement to attend the Secure Services site in Preston at least once a week. Specialist services delivered within the Trust include secure mental health services, learning disability, perinatal, children and young people's mental health, eating disorder and dental services.
The Network Pharmacy Director for the Bay network will be based in the Bay locality (Lancaster, Morecambe, Kendal or Barrow). Services delivered within the Bay locality include inpatient adult and older people's and community mental health services, including crisis home based treatment and initial response (single point of access) services. The network also host the Early Intervention for Psychosis service.
The Network Pharmacy Director for the Pennine network will be based in the Pennine locality (Blackburn, Burnley, Darwen, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Rossendale). Services delivered within the Bay locality include inpatient adult and older people's and community mental health services, including crisis home based treatment and initial response (single point of access) services
Hybrid working will be considered to a maximum of two days per week working from home subject to service need.
