Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Ward Administrator to join the team of Ward Admin staff working in the Harbour, Hospital, Blackpool.

The successful candidate will have experience in working within Mental Health services. They will have excellent communication skills and possess a Business and Administration NVQ 3 qualification or be able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. To be able to carry out established admin processes efficiently and accurately and to be highly organized and competent with IT, in order to support effectively their ward. A good understanding of the local IT systems, ECR, RIO and Health Roster would be very beneficial though full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

You will have a caring and flexible approach to meet service requirements and will work well both in a team and independently. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is able to take on new challenges and provide the best possible service to clinicians, nurses and families alike.

Regular supervision will be provided.
