Job summary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to act as lead for the Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) interventions pathway in LSCft. Complex Emotional Needs or CEN is a term used to describe service users who may have difficulties associated with a personality disorder. As part of the NHS Long Term Plan Community Transformation a new Complex Emotional Needs pathway has recently been developed which is non-diagnostic focused and instead focused upon service user complexity and need. These interventions are delivered by Specialist Practitioners for Personality Disorder, SCM practitioners, Psychologists and CMHT staff.

Experience that would be valuable to this post includes previous work with this client group, experience of MDT working, experience of delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Structured Clinical Management or Mentalisation Based Therapy and experience of providing supervision and consultation.
