Job summary
We have one vacancy for highly skilled Safeguarding Practitioners to join the Safeguarding Children and Adults Team within Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCft).
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic qualified health practitioner considering a new challenge within a multi-agency setting offering advice, guidance, and support in relation to often complex, sensitive and emotive safeguarding concerns.
The post covers Lancashire County Council Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and Blackburn with Darwen Children Advice and Duty Service (CADS) and is co-located with the partner agencies within the Integrated Front Door Service.
Lancashire MASH is based at Lancashire House in Accrington. Blackburn with Darwen CADS is based at Duke Street in Blackburn.
Main duties of the job
You need to have a passion for working with children, young people and families and be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse information to inform risk assessment.
The post holder will be required to collate and share relevant and proportionate health information in line with MASH and CADS procedures.
The post requires the practitioner to work in collaboration with local statutory and mainstream services to identify, seek and collate the relevant health information to add to the multi-agency risk assessment.
The post holder will facilitate and provide professional expertise to other professionals and agencies on safeguarding matters related to health.
These posts are co-located within the local authority teams
Lancashire MASH Practitioner required to be in Lancashire House, Monday - Wednesday each week
BWD CADs Practitioner required to be in Duke Street 5 days a week
