Community Stroke Neuro Rehabilitation Service - Central Lancashire

Band 7 Operational Team Leader

22.5 hrs 0.6 FTE Permanent

A proven track record of leadership and operational experience is essential, as well as a commitment to developing integrated care approaches. The post holder will need to have sound knowledge of NHS service management in large complex teams. You will also need to display excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing excellent working relationship with colleagues and partner agencies.

The Community Stroke Neuro Rehabilitation Service are passionate about providing the best possible care and continuing to improve and develop the services that we provide. You will work in coproduction with the Clinical Leads, Clinical and Administration staff, and operational colleagues to lead the day to day operational management of the service, and lead on service development projects.

The post holder will undertake line management duties for staff from mixed disciplines, and will embed systems to ensure that all staff within the service operate in line with the required processes and governance arrangements.

Main duties of the job

To provide first line management for Therapy teams in the Central locality within services delivered by Lancashire South Cumbria Trust.

The post holder will lead and be accountable for the day to day operational management, performance and budgetary responsibility for Therapy teams in the Central locality as delegated by the Service Manager.

The post holder will support the Service Manager by providing leadership to the service to deliver a high quality and high performing clinical service.
