Job summary

We are seeking an SAR Deputy Team Leader to join a small team based in the Health Records Department.

To co-ordinate and fulfil a range of administrative duties to support the effective and efficient functioning of the Subject Access Request team under the direction of the SAR Team Leader.

You will provide day to day supervision and support for a designated admin team and will be responsible for liaison with other clinical and admin staff within the Organisation. Attention to detail will be essential and high standards of data quality will be required

They will ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with National and local policies and that the Trust is compliant with Data Protection Legislation.

The successful applicants will be based at Astra Business Centre, Roman Way, Preston but may be required to work in other sites throughout the Trust.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly when required, to contribute to the achievement of objectives and meet service requirements. This will involve carrying out delegated administrative and clerical duties and communicating basic service information to stakeholders, liaising with a range of agencies and professionals, recording relevant and accurate information and reporting to other team members as appropriate.

The postholder will be required to be supportive of the IG agenda and will be required to liaise and communicate with the Data Protection Officer and the Information Governance Team on a regular basis.
