Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to provide an efficient reception service. This post is based at Woodview, Mitton Road, Whalley.
Opening in November 2023, Woodview Unit is a newly refurbished building on the Whalley site which will have a total of 32 beds including 12 Male, 12 Female and an 8 bedded Male PICU unit. These additional beds will complement those on the Pendleview Unit, Royal Blackburn Hospital.
The successful applicant will provide efficient administrative support and have excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills. You will also require strong interpersonal and customer service skills, be able to demonstrate initiative and the ability to organise your workload effectively.
This post is full time, 37.5 hours over 7 days.
Monday - Sunday. 7am -9pm.
Main duties of the job
The work is varied, interesting and demanding and candidates need to be organised, flexible and reliable. We are looking for people who possess the ability to meet the demands of the service, and also to be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients and health care professionals. You will also need to enjoy working as part of a large team, supporting colleagues within the department during busy periods.
Substantive hours are to be discussed at interview, the hours will be working on a rolling rota Monday - Sunday between 07:00 21:00, full and part time hours are available.
