Job summary

We are excited to be advertising for a new Recruitment Advisor to join our team. We are looking for someone who is able to provide an effective and professional Employment Service Advisory service, demonstrating the Trust values and contributing towards the People & Culture Directorate's Strategic Priorities.

Main duties of the job

This interim role will take a lead on enhancing our current recruitment activity by adding valuable support in providing an effective and professional advisory service demonstrating the Trust values and contributing towards the People & Culture Directorate's Strategic Priorities.

The post holder will support the team over a 6 month period with:

  • Developing an effective plan to help monitor projects and meet our objectives across Employment Services
  • Review and update policies and procedures
  • Support in development of proposals and business cases
  • Create a platform via E-HR for accessible information
  • Leading on the implementation of Inclusive Recruitment practices, developing and delivering training across the trust and completing the evaluation
  • Undertaking a review of current incentives
  • Support in updating reports and returns
  • Create effective activity reporting

In addition, this role will provide opportunities and other activities as part of the wider team. This role will be based at Sceptre Point, Walton Summit, PR5 6AW, however there is combined with an the offer of a hybrid working approach, combining working from home with working on our key Trust sites.

  • Degree level education or equivalent in relevant area
  • CIPD qualified or significant progress working towards qualification or Project management experience

  • Experience of providing project support to a number of initiatives
  • Ability to utilise Microsoft Office to an advanced level in particular excel

Skills and Abilities

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to produce accurate correspondence and effectively communicate information
  • Advanced organisational skills including ability to manage workflow, prioritising a variety of tasks and using own initiative
