Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Project Management team as a Senior Project Manager. Our vision is to deliver challenging, specialised projects with collaboration and professionalism to enhance patient care. This is an exciting time to join the team as Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust has recently been awarded Global Digital Exemplar Fast Follower status and are embarking on delivering innovative digital technologies across the Trust, as well as rolling out a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
The post holder will work with Programme Managers and other Project Managers within the Digital programme taking responsibility for establishing project-wide plans which embrace key milestones and critical path events. They will be responsible for the establishment of robust monitoring processes to enable the monitoring of progress, reporting any deviations from plan, the impact on the overall programme and potential mitigating actions to the Programme Manager, and the Programme Team. The post holder will produce, manage and process all the formal documentation for each stage of the project(s).
Main duties of the job
The Digital programme is a key strategic programme intended to deliver personalised, well-coordinated IT solutions and Clinical Systems across all clinical networks.
This programme will incorporate the engagement and involvement of partners, stakeholders, clinicians and service users in:
- Planning and developing digital solutions that benefit patients and carers across the Lancashire & South Cumbria health economy;
- The deployment of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across the whole trust and the planning and agreement of a whole system remodelling from current and legacy systems
- The development of in-house systems to support clinical care across Lancashire & South Cumbria.
The Senior Project Manager will work with Digital Programme Managers and other Project Managers within the Digital programme taking responsibility for establishing project-wide plans which embrace key milestones and critical path events. They will be responsible for the establishment of robust monitoring processes to enable the monitoring of progress, reporting any deviations from plan, the impact on the overall programme and potential mitigating actions to the Programme Manager, and the Programme Team.
