In a period of exciting change, South Cumbria CAMHS Team are currently looking to recruit a full time Band 6 Practitioner within our crisis pathway. We are looking for a registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapists with post registration experience working with children and young people, experience of undertaking crisis assessments, risk management and safety planning would be advantageous. You will be part of an established CAMH service, working with children, young people (up to the age of 18) and their families;

Main duties of the job

The crisis team work alongside the CAMHS team who provide a range of treatment approaches to children and young people including CBT, EMDR, psychology and IPT. We also work in close collaboration with partner agencies.

The hours of work are 9am-6pm, 7 days a week. You must be passionate about working with children and young people with a wide range of moderate to severe mental health difficulties.

Clinicians interested in a secondment will also be considered with the agreement of the team leader.
