This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the ADHD Nurse Led Service delivering high quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of children and young people on the ADHD pathway.
Main duties of the job
As an ADHD practitioner you will be expected to support the Specialist ADHD Nurses across Central Lancashire, working within a systemic and holistic framework undertaking needs led and evidence based assessments within the ADHD Nurse Led Service.
You will work with children, young people, parents, carers and schools in a variety of ways to help support management of child or young person's diagnosis.
Within in the role of the ADHD practitioner you will liaise with other professionals in order that the child and family/carers receive an integrated multi-agency approach. And you will participate in the monitoring, research and evaluation of the ADHD Nurse Led Service.
We are seeking an individual who has experience in working with children and young people or has a good understanding of childhood development.
Successful applicants will be required to co-work effectively with colleagues and maintain good clinical records and data collection.
A means of transport is essential and applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
