Job summary

Specialty Doctor - General Adult Psychiatry, Royal Preston Hospital (6PA)

We are seeking to recruit a Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry for a fixed term period of 9 months to work with the Central Home Treatment Team. The post is part time (6PA) and will be based at Royal Preston Hospital, Preston.

Main duties of the job

The clinical component of the post is focussed on the assessment of patients referred to the HTT at service users homes and in clinic, including contribution to the CPA process and to provide for mental health needs for patients including prescribing and review of medications.

There may be the opportunity to join the On Call rota, for which additional remuneration is available.

About us

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 3 year's experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice. Ideally, you will be Section 12 Approved, or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.
