Job summary
The Lancashire Resilience Hub is a newly established service that was initially set up to provide support for members of the wider Integrated Care System (ICS) as well as their immediate family members who are suffering from psychological trauma or other psychological difficulties e.g., bereavement, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The focus of the service continues to be on the impact of Covid but also supporting staff experiencing a wider range of difficulties which are impacting on the psychological and emotional well-being. In addition to the individual support offered to ICS staff members the Resilience Hub also contribute to enhancing system-wide resilience and the well-being of the ICS workforce.
The Resilience Hub is hosted by the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust on behalf of the Integrated Care System and work very closely with a range of services such as the Mental Health Helpline, IAPT Primary Care Services and secondary care services as well as other Occupational Health and Well-Being services across the ICS footprint.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to make confident clinical and managerial contributions to the service, which will include the following with multi-disciplinary support:
- Being responsible for ensuring the systematic provision of a high quality specialist psychological service to clients within a designated area of responsibility.
- Supervising and supporting psychological assessment and therapy provided by other psychologists, psychological therapists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.
- Working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the designated area of responsibility.
- Utilising research skills, audit, policy and service development and research and implement policy changes within the areas served by the team/service in agreement with the relevant manager.

- Experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for client's psychological care and treatment both as a professionally qualified care co-ordinator and also within the context of multidisciplinary care plan.
