- To provide high quality CBT to adults with common mental health problems including those with a degree of complexity.
- To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of team policies and procedure.
- To provide clinical supervision and mentoring to cognitive behavioral therapists and trainees.
- To deliver a CBT service in accordance with NICE guidelines, meeting key performance indicators and agreed activity levels.
- To work to the agreed model and number of clinical contacts per week as set by the service
- To provide advice and consultation on clients' care, to non-CBT colleagues and to non-professional carers.
- To utilise research skills for audit policy and service development and research within the areas served by the team.

Main duties of the job
An existing opportunity exists for several suitably qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, who are passionate about providing meaningful and effective therapeutic experiences to address common mental health problems, to join the Fylde and Wyre Mindsmatter team (IAPT Services).
Mindsmatter CBT Therapists offer accessible screening to ensure appropriate referrals to the service, assessment and treatment for mild to moderate mental health problems, giving service users a greater degree of choice and flexibility by providing an extensive menu of therapies including psycho-education courses, 1:1 therapy, and group and computerised CBT programs.
You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality service outcomes against robust performance measures and have excellent interpersonal qualities; time management skills; an ability to work autonomously; and an enthusiasm for working in an ever-developing IAPT environment.
