Job summary

Welcome Bonus of 5% of starting salary and Relocation Packages of upto £8000 available (subject to t&c's)

To be a member of the multidisciplinary team and ensure the effective assessment formulation planning, monitoring of care given to inpatient service users.

To exercise professional accountability and responsibility using skills, knowledge and expertise in changing environments, across clinical boundaries and in unfamiliar situations as outlined within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

To support and development of others through supervision and role modelling.

Main duties of the job

We are inviting applications from RMNs who arecurrently registered with the NMC with demonstrable experience. A number of full and part time permanent contract opportunities for band 5 staff nurses have now arisen for the right candidates based at the Scarisbrick Centre in West Lancashire.

We are looking for highly motivated Staff nurses who can demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal qualities. The successful candidate must be willing to work in fast paced environment, have a positive outlook and ensure that delivering a quality service, which genuinely engages with service users, carers and other stakeholders, is a key priority.

The successful post holder will be expected to rotate across the 2 ward footprint and be able to work shifts covering 24 hours, seven days a week.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
