Clinical Team Manager

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Manager within Warrington Community CYPMHS.

The successful applicant will work full-time hours, supporting a rapidly developing Warrington CYPMHS service. You will work as part of an MDT, consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health nurses, Psychological therapists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers and more.

As part of the Warrington CYPMHS leadership team, you will be supported to deliver an excellent service alongside a Deputy Team Manager, Clinical Lead, and Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry managerial responsibility for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and be responsible for the overall standards which will include referral management and access, assessment of need and delivery of care within the iTHRIVE model.

The post holder will operate as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team but be expected to be flexible in terms of travel to undertake duties.

The post-holder carries continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, and the setting of standards of care within that team.

The post holder will be aligned to Community CAMHS Service but may be required to work flexibly across all divisional sites to provide response to the service needs of the physical and mental health clinical teams providing cover as directed by the Service Manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.

  • Registered Nurse (RMN)
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Degree qualification relevant to field of practice or demonstrable evidence of study at a higher level
  • Willing to undertake a management qualification

  • Must have qualification in at least one of the following areas:
  • Individual or group Psychotherapy
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Person Centred Counselling
  • Systemic Family Practice
  • Webster Stratton Incredible years / parenting groups professional
