Job summary
St Helens Recovery team are looking to recruit a Band 5 Duty Nurse Practitioner full time on a permanent contract. We are a supportive, well-resourced and dedicated team and there will be opportunities for professional development within the role. You will work alongside the senior duty practitioner within the team.
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, to work alongside our large multidisciplinary team. A special interest in risk management/crisis intervention work would suit the applicant and a full induction and training will be provided to the right candidate.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is interested in developing as a practitioner and person. Development opportunities will be available and regular clinical supervision and support will be provided.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the duty senior nurse practitioner. They will also contribute to maintenance of the overall standards, which will include assessment of need and delivery of care within the context of Effective Care Coordination.
The post holder will work within an integrated team to ensure continuity of care for service users on their journey through the acute service. The post holder will work from within the community environment but be expected to be flexible in terms of delivering care within a variety of settings.
