Job summary

In agreement with Cheshire and Merseyside ICB vacancy panel, this post is restricted to colleagues who currently work within the NHS in Cheshire and Merseyside.

You will be joining the Trust at an exciting time as we progress our work to improve the experience of our people. With a focus on creating a culture of belonging you will lead the organisation in creating a positive and productive working environment.

With experience working as a senior HR professional in a large, complex organisation, you will have proven ability in leading, transforming and delivering a range of People services, leading culture change and cross-organisational workforce programmes. With the ability to gain credibility with a range of stakeholders including trade unions, you will have the ability to interpret and advise on complex workforce and cultural issues.

Main duties of the job

A forward thinking and innovative member and leader of our People Directorate delivering our People Plan and our transformational programme. Able to deputise across the entire portfolio of the Chief People and Culture Officer with the ability to build credibility with, inspire confidence and demonstrably influence staff at all levels across our diverse services.

  • oProfessional / academic qualification at masters level or equivalent experience
  • oMCIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • oEvidence of continued professional development

Desirable

  • oAppropriate management qualification or equivalent experience
  • oChartered Fellow of CIPD
  • oAdditional specialist qualifications, e.g. Coaching or psychometric testing
