Job summary
The post holder will lead the team responsible for all transactional tasks in ESR. as well as maintaining the expense system. This will include maintenance, planning, development and implementation of changes to ESR, ensuring there is a proactive approach and that functionality is developed in support of the Trust and departmental objectives and strategies.
There will be a close working relationship between the post holder and the wider HR and workforce teams as well as all colleagues across the whole Trust.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all ESR data input, whether via ESR manager self-service or processed by the Employee Lifecycle team is completed accurately and on time
Working closely with the Workforce Systems Manager, Trust divisions and the Trusts payroll provider, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that ESR is an accurate reflection of the organisational hierarchical structure at the Trust.
Main duties of the job
The role will manage the Employee Lifecycle team ensuring all transactional work is undertaken in line with payroll deadlines. Managing the team and undertaking PACE reviews, absence management and if necessary processes relating to performance and disciplinary in line with the trust's policies as they arise. Ensure the team members are sufficiently trained to complete their roles
The post holder will be a key contact within the trust and be a subject matter expert for all ESR related systems and processes.
