Job summary

The post holder will be required to work Monday to Friday 22.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

  1. Challenge the stigma associated with mental health and learning difficulties'
  2. Work across professional and organisational boundaries to improve services for all.
  3. Maintain their specific knowledge base and develop new skills.
  4. Value the contribution of the patient / service user voice.
  5. Operate within any organisational codes of practice or those from a relevant professional body.

  2. Liaise with colleagues at all levels both within the team and across other agencies and in other organisations
  3. The post holder will propose any necessary changes of local protocols necessary to aid service improvement.
  4. Maintain appropriate supplies for the team, being responsible for all necessary ordering of supplies/ equipment.
  5. Arrange delivery and collection of equipment requests from clinical staff, service users and public
  6. Support in equipment amnesty, manning phone line and arranging collections
  7. Provide a reception cover on a rota basis

  • The post holder shall as necessary provide cover for and undertake duties of absent colleagues.

  • The post holder shall follow all the policies and procedures of the organisation.
