Job summary
Apprenticeship Opportunity - Trainee Nurse Associate
An exciting opportunity is open to undertake Apprenticeship training, to become a Nursing Associate in partnership with one of our local universities.
This is a 2 year developmental role. As an apprentice you will work towards progression into the post of Nursing Associate, through successful completion of the Nursing Associate training programme, which includes the attainment of a level 5 Foundation Degree equivalent qualification. The Nursing Associate apprenticeship combines both academic and work-based learning.
Apprentices will attend university for theory, and will complete work based learning in their clinical workplace. They will also experience working in alternative settings on spoke placements, to fulfill all the requirements of the programme, and registration will be with the NMC.
Main duties of the job
The job description attached lists the main duties of the role in detail however, in order to be considered for this opportunity you must be able to evidence the following when submitting your application.
- GCSEs Grade A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English or functional skills level 2 in Maths and English
- 32 UCAS points from study at level 3 (A levels, Diploma as part of an apprenticeship or stand alone or BTEC qualification)
- You must have relevant 12 months experience in care.
