Job summary
The post holder will support the Temporary Staffing Clinical Nurses on a day to day basis. The role will be to ensure we have high quality bank workers in our trust ready to be placed in a service for temporary cover. As a trust, we expect all our colleagues to maintain all their mandatory training as well as any role specific training and this role will support this.
The postholder will also act as the gatekeeper for any issues or complaints from or linking to a bank worker or agency worker. This will require facilitation skills in relation to cause for concerns helping to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner, supporting the Temporary Staffing Clinical Nurse. Furthermore, you will support implementation of new processes in relation to monitoring the use of temporary workers, compliance with professional registration, training, risk assessment and appraisals.

Main duties of the job
As an administrator with proven experience and skills, you will work closely with the Corporate Teams, Heads of Nursing/Senior Managers, Lead Nurses and Temporary Staffing Team to ensure the effective systems and process for the use of temporary (bank) and Agency Staff are embedded into practice throughout the Trust.
You will support the Lead Nurses in monitoring and maintaining compliance, quality and governance as well as the complaint procedures within the Temporary Staffing Department.
