Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the St Helens and Knowsley Early Intervention Team, as Band 6 practitioner.
The Team provide NICE concordant care, treatment and support to service users, aged 14-65, who are experiencing a first episode psychosis, or are at high risk of developing psychosis in the near future.
You will be part of an MDT, working closely with supportive and experienced colleagues, and will be involved in the service user's journey to recovery, helping to identify early signs of psychosis, and supporting the person to understand and manage their symptoms.
Previous community experience is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be involved in the screening process, in order to identify people who may be experiencing a first episode of psychosis, or are at risk of developing psychosis.
They will be responsible for the planning and delivery of interventions, in collaboration with our service users and their families.
There will be a requirement to support the Clinical Team Manager and Clinical lead, in maintaining standards, to ensure that NICE concordant care is delivered in an individualised and innovative way.
The post holder will work within the community environment but will be expected to be flexible in terms of delivering care within a variety of settings.
