Job summary

We are looking for motivated and committed physiotherapists to start their career in dynamic and multidisciplinary services as part of our successful B5 rotation scheme.

There are opportunities to rotate across our Community Care Division on a variety of rotations and specialities throughout the patient pathway.

As a Rotational Physiotherapist you will complete six monthly rotations, gaining experience in all core strands of physiotherapy.

These settings include MSK, Intermediate care, Community Therapy, Stroke, Early Supported Discharge, Pulmonary Rehab, Falls, Community Neuro and Paediatrics.

We also have a strong working relationship with Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital (LHCH) and through Mersey Care's Rotation offer there is the opportunity to rotate into LHCH.

Main duties of the job

You will gain a balance of outpatient clinic, community and Intermediate Care bed-based caseloads, working in various settings and specialities, gaining experience, receiving full support and enjoying an in-depth learning experience working with great specialist teams within our Trust.

You will have access to a variety of services and a 12-month Preceptorship programme that takes into consideration your previous learning, strengths and opportunities.

The post holder will be expected to effectively manage a caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner, using evidence based/ patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions of the patient group.

The post holder takes a holistic approach in the assessment and treatment of service users / patients, being responsible for the provision of appropriate, high-quality care to a defined caseload which may be of a complex nature, using the appropriate model of care and evidenced based practice.

Work in partnership with other professionals.

To have the ability to undertake self-directed/lone working in a variety of locations.
