Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 OHA (with 15% R&R salary uplift) to join our very busy Occupational Health & Wellbeing department at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust (MCT).
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of OH professionals, physiotherapists, counsellors and CBT therapists and health & wellbeing practitioners. Duties will include the full OH remit ie management referrals, pre-placement assessessments, medicals, immunisations and phlebotomy, health surveillance etc for MCT staff as well as a range of external clients.
We are looking for a dynamic experienced OHA who can work automomously as well as being part of a wider team, with excellent communication and report writing who is keen to develop their own skills and knowledge and contribute to the development of others.

Main duties of the job
To work autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary Occupational Health Service delivering a high quality practical and preventative occupational health service to employees.
To operate within Trust policies and departmental procedures and be responsible for maintaining their professional development, keeping upto date with issues relating to nursing and occupational health practice.To participate in the development of departmental procedures, protocols and standards.
The post holder will be able to work autonomously and manage own caseload without direct supervision as part of theOccupational Health team
