NHS Informatics Merseyside are looking for a talented, highly motivated Clinical Business Change Manager to work with our partner organisations, leading digital transformation work across a wide portfolio of programmes and projects. These include technical projects, complex clinical system implementations and digital optimisation work which aim to enhance care through patient empowerment, collaboration and by improving the way information is shared across health and care settings.

Job responsibilities

The role of the Clinical Business Change Manager will be to lead and facilitate all matters relating to business change management within the Programme and Project Management (PPM) Team.

Working within the PPM Team the post holder will work with Informatics Merseysides Partners and Customers clinical and non-clinical staff, and other members of the Informatics teams, to identify current processes and the design and delivery of new processes, and will participate in the process of identifying the impact and optimisation of Digital Solutions as they are implemented.

Working as part of the Informatics Transformation and Development Service, the post holder will also be required to support the PPM Team with advice and guidance on Benefits Management and Change Management , which will take account of the varying states of digital readiness across our partners, and draws on a variety of change management tools and approaches to support all users with significant change.

Ideally the post holder should have experience of:

  • Extensive experience of Business Change and or service improvement in a senior role
  • Extensive experience of large project development and deployment.
  • Experience of leading on the uses of data to manage services safely
  • Extensive experience of engaging and influencing large groups of clinicians and managers
  • Experience of defining user requirements and converting them to future state requirements.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to answer complex queries and solve problems
  • Managing projects in an NHS environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NHS strategic direction, both locally and nationally
  • Can work autonomously to achieve agreed objectives
  • Experience of operational management and service delivery
  • Experience of leading and managing teams
  • In depth knowledge of community mental health provision and associated digital requirements including,data and digital tools to support new models of care
  • Experience of working across organisational boundaries to achieve results
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff of all disciplines to promote and develop service improvement projects

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Evidence of continued professional development
